Kathmandu University Computer Club to Organize IT Meet 2011 [Dec 4-5]

Kathmandu University Computer Club (KUCC), a departmental club is organizing IT Meet 2011, on December 4 and 5, 2011 at Kathmandu University, Dhulikhel, Kavre.

It is aimed to promote interaction between students from various colleges of Nepal and between youth from various walks of life, says KUCC. The event will be beneficial for the students/youths in multiple of level. Firstly it will kick start the process of dialogue and interaction among youth that we believe lack in the social system of Nepal. A light will be cast on “Youth” a group neglected by mainstream and pushed into the darkness of solitude. Secondly it will pull students out of the boundary of academic books and lead to a platform where they can express themselves through their words, projects and talents.

kucc it meet 2011It will also be a chance for students to enhance their communication skills, events managerial skills etc which will be valuable for students/youth in building their career and eventually building better life.

Organizers have anticipated to gather 15,000 people among which most of them will be students and general public from Colleges in and around Kathmandu Valley, Youth working in social sector, Media, ICT, Entrepreneurs and other walk of life. The event, however, will be open for all kinds of people.

The event will be conducted on 4th to 5th of December 2011. The event is divided mainly eleven categories:

2. Business Incubation Workshop

3. Problem Solving Competition (Instant Programming)

4. IT Quiz

5. Googling

6. Designing

i. Web Designing

ii. Graphics

7. Insomnia

8. Gaming Competition

9. 3d – Science Movie Show

10. Talk Program on Free Topic(Expressive Program)

“IT Meet” is a yearly event organized by Kathmandu University Computer Club, a non-profit, independent Club organized by students of Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Kathmandu University. Celebrating its fourteen glorious years of success in the field of Information and Communication Technology, KUCC is grandly presenting KU IT MEET 2011.

SLC Result 2068/2069 Published

The Office of the Controller of Examinations, Sanothimi has published the results of the SLC examination for the academic year 2068, on Wednesday evening. Out of 528,257 examines, 47.16 percent students passed the SLC this year. According to OCE, 2,47,689 regular students passed the exam under the regular, whereas 82,283 students have passed under the exempted category. We've uploaded SLC Result 2068 in .pdf format. Radha : Shruti Sambeg [Review and Download]

Radha by Krishna Dharabasi is wonderful novel based on traditional era of Lord Krishna and Radha. The traditional plot of the story makes the readers/listeners feel that Dharabasi is narrating us the same old story of love of Radha and Krishna. However , the story based on the traditional plot it portrays the modern era in a dramatic way such that it speaks of so many hidden things that we will be amazed while ending it up. Shirish Ko Phool : Review & Download

One of the finest book ever written in Nepali literature....Shirish Ko Phool and one of my personal favorite. I have read this novel over four times or say five times..and each time I finish the novel I feel pang and it hangs on my head for so many days. Why guilt is so painful that made such a strong woman called Sakambari to suicide..or die…?? The novel has a wonderful language..the simplest of all. When I had read it for the first time..to tell the truth that I hadn’t really understood the novel, I felt the love story in it and I could not understand the passion in the novel.. But this day I may say I am able to figure out the passion and the feelings of the author.. I really appreciate the wonderful story, the plot the real setting, the real characters…and the situation of the novel till it ends. The pain of running away from the feelings and passion. SLC RESULT 2068/2069 (2011-2012) To publish Today

The result of the School Leaving Certificate (SLC) 2068/2069 examinations held earlier this year is going to published today (by Wednesday evening). The Office of the Controller of Examinations, Sanothimi is going through final preparations to flash SLC examination result within this evening. Altogether 528,257 examines had appeared for the exam.
