बधाई छ अनुप ! “Democracy is BLACK” बन्यो सर्वोत्कृष्ट भिडियो

अमेरिकी विदेश मन्त्रालय तथा यसका साझेदारहरुले आयोजना गरेको अन्तराष्ट्रिय डेमोक्रेसी भिडियो च्यालेन्ज प्रतियोगिता २०१० को अन्तिम चरण मा प्रवेश गर्ने १८ प्रतियोगी भिडियोहरू मध्येबाट, दक्षिण एसिया को प्रतिनिधित्व गर्दै नेपाल को तर्फबाट अनुप पौडेल को “Democracy is BLACK” भन्ने भिडियो सर्वोत्कृष्ट घोषित भएको छ । प्रतियोगितामा विश्वका ८९ देशका २ हजार २ सय प्रतिस्पर्धीको सहभागीता रहेको थियो ।

democracyविभिन्न रङहरु का परिभाषा बताउँदै र रङ्गहरु को सम्मिश्रण देखाउँदै, अनुप ले ‘प्रयोगात्मक’ शैली माAnoop Paudel “Democracy is BLACK” भन्ने १ मिनेट ३० सेकेन्ड को भिडियो तयार पारेका थिए । कति ले, “ओबामा, ब्ल्याक, अमेरिका, डेमोक्रेसी” को अर्थ उनको भिडियो बाट निकालेका भएपनि उनको भिडियो ले भन्छ, “Democracy is Black. A colour of Power, power of nation” . उनले निलो, पहेँलो, हरियो र रातो रङ को विशेषता बताउँदै, अनन्त ‘डेमोक्रेसी इज ब्ल्याक’ भनेर देखाएका छन् ।

“Democracy is BLACK” भिडियो सर्वोत्कृष्ट घोषित भएसँगै, अनुप ले सबैलाई धन्यवाद ज्ञापन गरेकाछन् । अन्तिम १८ मा छानिएको भिडियोलाई मे १५ देखि जुन १५ सम्म युट्युब मार्फत भोट गरिएको थियो । नेपाल बाट अनुप पौडेल सँगै श्री गुरुङ को भिडियो पनि उत्कृष्ट १८ मा परेको थियो।

बिजेता बनेपछि उनी अफ आफ्नो भिडियो देखाउनका लागि अमेरिकाको न्यूवर्क लगायतका क्षेत्रमा जाने अवसर पाउनेछन् । उनको उक्त भिडियो त्यहाँका चलचित्र भवनहरुमा समेत देखाइने उनले बताए ।

ओस्कार कलेज अप फिल्म स्टडिजमा स्नातक तहमा अध्ययन गदै गरेका पौडेल एसियन डेभलपमेन्ट बैंकले फिलिपिन्समा आयोजना गरेको जलवायु परिर्वतन सम्बन्धी भिडियो प्रतियोगितामा प्रथम भएका थिए ।

विश्व विजेता बन्न पौडेल सफल भएपछि उनको गाउँ महादेवस्थान, काभ्रे मा खुशीयाली छाएको छ । (ईकान्तिपुर)
