XT Computers

Today, I'm going to post some picture of XT Computer. I've clicked this picture from our Computer Science & Engineering Department, Kathmandu University Dhulikhel Kavre. It has become a show piece as it is an Old Computer. This computer was gifted by NIDC. In picture you can see that, this computer consist of monitor and CPU only, but where is mouse and Keyboard ? Might be lost, and yet another thing, there is no screen glass. As it is an old computer and gifted by NIDC.











This is a XT computer and this picture are taken from website.It's not in KU... :P

Beside Last picture, all pictures are clicked by myself from mobile.Low Quality Picture. :(

    When I started teaching in Western Region Campus-Pokhara of IOE-TU around 1997, there were a lot of such XT computers. I think they were donated by some agencies while the campus was built in 1985. Nobody used them and new PCs replaced them a few years later. I don't know what happened to those XTs.

Shirish Ko Phool : Review & Download

One of the finest book ever written in Nepali literature....Shirish Ko Phool and one of my personal favorite. I have read this novel over four times or say five times..and each time I finish the novel I feel pang and it hangs on my head for so many days. Why guilt is so painful that made such a strong woman called Sakambari to suicide..or die…?? The novel has a wonderful language..the simplest of all. When I had read it for the first time..to tell the truth that I hadn’t really understood the novel, I felt the love story in it and I could not understand the passion in the novel.. But this day I may say I am able to figure out the passion and the feelings of the author.. I really appreciate the wonderful story, the plot the real setting, the real characters…and the situation of the novel till it ends. The pain of running away from the feelings and passion. When the Suyogbir says.."Ma glass ma bhagchu” ( I forgot the line exactly…). The feeling is that we run away from pai...

KU Holi 2066 [Pictures]

This year also, I’ve celebrated Holi (Fagu Purnima) at Kathmandu University, Dhulikhel Kavre. This is my 3rd Holi at KU. Holi is one of the most interesting event over here.
