NASA released a photo of Mount Everest (8,848m Nepal) that was taken from space few days back. Sites including The Atlantic, Mashable etc carried that news saying, ‘Mount Everest Doesn’t Look That Big from Space’. Unfortunately they published the wrong photo of Mount Everest. And we all Tweeted and shared that photo on our networks believing that was Mount Everest. A senior journalist Kunda Dixit inspected that image and Tweeted “Sorry guys, but the tall peak with the shadow in the middle is not Mt Everest.
