Celebrating Software Freedom Day 2009

Software Freedom Day 2009 is inagurated by Honorable Minister Sankar Pokharel, in Yalamaya Kendra, PatanDhoka Lalitpur. In an inagurating ceremony, he said government is ready to help orgainization like FOSS Nepal, and wished best of luck for the success of program.

Likewise, Madan Pariyar of HLCIT, Former minister Ganesh Shah and CAN Presidnet has also given speech on free and open source software.Mr. Ganesh Shah focused in '7-e' once again. At end of session KamalMani Dixit, has given thanks to everyone and encourage to use Linux as Operating System as well.

Several events like, presentation on different projects and topics, disscussion on Open Space, Demo of several software, freedom toaster, cd distribution are taking place side by side.

SLC Results 2068/2069 to Publish in Mid June

The result of the School Leaving Certificate (SLC) 2068/2069 examinations held earlier this year will be published in mid June (First week of Asar). According to ekantipur , the Office of the Controller of Examinations is going to publish the School Leaving Certificate (SLC) results 2068 in third week of June. Deputy Controller Ambika Pd. Regmi said, “We are trying to publish the result as soon as possible. If we go according to our plan the results would be out by the third week of June”. SLC Results 2068 will be available online as soon as the Controller of Examinations published the results. Sites including moe.gov.np, doe.gov.np, soce.gov.np, slc.ntc.net.np etc will be publishing the results online. SLC Results 2068 can be accessed through SMS services as well. SLC Result 2068/2069 Published

The Office of the Controller of Examinations, Sanothimi has published the results of the SLC examination for the academic year 2068, on Wednesday evening. Out of 528,257 examines, 47.16 percent students passed the SLC this year. According to OCE, 2,47,689 regular students passed the exam under the regular, whereas 82,283 students have passed under the exempted category. We've uploaded SLC Result 2068 in .pdf format.
