Highway: Nepali Movie Trailer Launched Online [VIDEO]

A first trailer of most awaited Nepali movie 'Highway -- An artery of relationships' has been released officially last Friday and was launched online late Saturday night due to some technical reasons.

I was one of the invitee of that promo launch program and glad to see such an wonderful trailer of the movie 'Highway'. I used to complain a lot about Nepali Movies, not only on story and presentation but I do complain on trailer and posters as well. But after seeing that promo, I was unable to complain, rather Kamal Mani Dixit got an issue. He challenged Naseeruddin Shah, an Indian Film Actor that Naseeruddin cannot judge 'Highway' just by looking posters and trailers now.

Point to be noted that, few months back Naseeruddin had made a statement that anyone can judge the Nepali Movie's standard just by looking at the posters, and somehow it's the bitter truth of Nepali Film Industry.

Do I've to say about trailer? Trailer is just awesome. Since, I'd already watched some movies of Dipak Rauniyar, I believe this movie will rock too and it can be a benchmark in Nepali Film Industry. Not only the official trailer but the posters were also different than any other Nepali movies'. Highway's posters were designed by @swpch.

A Deepak Rauniyar film Highway, is produced by Dr. Sameer Mani Dixit (@sameermdixit) and Dr. Lonim P Dixit. Joslyn Barnes and Danny Glover are the co-producers. Movie is expected to release this winter. Congratulations and best wishes to the team.

Synopsis:
Set against the backdrop of the new culture of bandhs (general strikes) that frequently immobilize post-conflict Nepal, HIGHWAY explores five different relationship stories that become intertwined during an ill-fated bus journey from eastern Nepal to the capital, Kathmandu. While the passengers - each of whom urgently needs to be somewhere else - await a resolution to the combustible strike that is blocking the only passable road, the film explores the psychological and spiritual bandhs that many Nepalis are contending with.

SLC Result 2068/2069 Published

The Office of the Controller of Examinations, Sanothimi has published the results of the SLC examination for the academic year 2068, on Wednesday evening. Out of 528,257 examines, 47.16 percent students passed the SLC this year. SLC RESULT 2068/2069 (2011-2012) To publish Today

The result of the School Leaving Certificate (SLC) 2068/2069 examinations held earlier this year is going to published today (by Wednesday evening). The Office of the Controller of Examinations, Sanothimi is going through final preparations to flash SLC examination result within this evening. Altogether 528,257 examines had appeared for the exam.
