Linux Talks 2010 at Kathmandu University [Invitation]

KUOSC (Kathmandu University Open Source Community) is organizing a basic Linux training
program called LINUX TALKS 2010 for the students of Kathmandu University.

The program will start from Wednesday June 2, 2010 and will last for three days. The training will be conducted after 4:30 pm till 6:30 pm at the General Computer Lab of Computer Science and Engineering Department.

The training will basically be focused on:
1. Overview of Open Source Software and Linux Operating System
2. Installation of Ubuntu Linux Operating system
3. Package (Program) installation
4. Application overview and alternative applications
5. File management
6. Terminal basics
7. Internet and Networking Basics
8. Programming overview and tools in Linux
