Watch Nepali Documentary : ‘The Third Generation’ [Video]

A non profit social media organization based in Finland, Silver Lining Creation has released their most awaited Nepali Documentary ‘The Third Generation’ (2009) (तेस्रो पुस्ता) on YouTube. The documentary was screened at different documentary evenings and film festivals around the globe. The documentary has been narrated in Nepali with subtitles in English. In January 2010, it has been released in Nepal.

Synopsis: The documentary is based on a 19 years old Nepalese boy who leaves his well paid job with the United Nations in order to pursue a higher degree in the West. The documentary features his daily struggles in a new environment and, most importantly, portrays his self-awareness and longing for a search of identity. Amidst utter sadness looming around, he comes up with an idea that could transform his war savaged country into a prosperous wonderland.

Documentary focuses, Each Individual should be responsible towards their nation. No doubt this documentary is all about Sudiep Joshi’s (Actor) dreams, who believes we can develop our nation in our own if we think and if we do in a proper way. We have to join hands together for peace, prosperous and developed Nepal.

Documentary is directed by Manoj Bhusal.

    I hate those people who distinguish work as low-level and high level. "Work is work and you live with work." You just should not steal. You learn things from entry level jobs, like, "do not trust every one," "learn skilled job," and "be honest to your job." You Nepalese poeple are so narrow minded that you humiliate people who cleans floors and dishes, Shame on you. Also you worship those who are working clean, even if they are stealing. Unless you have these mentalities, you all will be poor and backward. I can only pray to god for your improved mentality. May god bless you.

Download and Install Nepali Unicode Romanised to write in Nepali all over the web. First of all, you have to Download and Run the Program on your computer. Then, you have to do some settings on your computer to use Nepali Unicode Romanized. You can download Nepali Unicode Romanized from the Madan Puraskar Pustakalaya website for free. Install Nepali Unicode Romanized in Windows XP: Install: Run setup file; Go to control Panel; Open Language and Regional settings; Open Regional Language Options; Go to Language Options & tick on check box (install files..... Shirish Ko Phool : Review & Download

One of the finest book ever written in Nepali literature....Shirish Ko Phool and one of my personal favorite. I have read this novel over four times or say five times..and each time I finish the novel I feel pang and it hangs on my head for so many days. Why guilt is so painful that made such a strong woman called Sakambari to suicide..or die…?? The novel has a wonderful language..the simplest of all. When I had read it for the first time..to tell the truth that I hadn’t really understood the novel, I felt the love story in it and I could not understand the passion in the novel.. But this day I may say I am able to figure out the passion and the feelings of the author.. I really appreciate the wonderful story, the plot the real setting, the real characters…and the situation of the novel till it ends. The pain of running away from the feelings and passion. चित्र बनाउन भनेपछि, सबैलाई गाह्रो लाग्छ । हुन पनि हो, चित्र कोर्नलाई गाह्रो नै छ, सबैले गर्न सक्दैनन् । म केही पहिलेसम्म स्केच कोर्थेँ, तर अहिले तिनै स्केच कोर्न पनि म नसक्ने भएको छु, अत: चित्र कोर्न निरन्तर अभ्यास जरुरी छ भन्ने लाग्छ । आज यहाँ यस्तो 'टेक्निक' को चर्चा गरिएको 'टेड' भिडियो राख्दैछु, यो भिडियो हेरिसकेपछि जस्तोसुकै व्यक्तिले पनि चित्र कोर्न सक्नेछन् । चित्र कोर्ने भन्ने बित्तिकै, एकदम 'पर्फेक्ट', जेसुकै, जुनसुकै कुराको पनि चित्र बनाउन सकिन्छ भनेको चाँहि होइन, त्यसको लागि त निरन्तर अभ्यास नै आवश्यक पर्छ । तर यति चैँ भन्न सकिन्छ कि, यो भिडियो हेरिसकेपछि तपाईले 'अल्बर्ट आइन्सटाइन'को स्केच चैँ सजिलै बनाउन सक्नुहुन्छ । वाँयाबाट दाँया क्रमैसँग । कागज र कलम तयारी अवस्थामा राखेर, चित्र बनाउन सिकाउने तलको टेड टकको भिडियो हेरौँ । टेड टक'को यो भिडियोमा ग्राम स्‌ ले भनेजस्तै सजिलै चित्र कोर्न सकिन्छ । एकपटक अवश्य बनाउनुहोस् ।
