पूल्चोक इन्जिनियरिङ क्याम्पसले यस वर्ष देखि दुई चरणमा प्रवेश परिक्षा सञ्चालन गर्दैछ, पहिलो चरणको परिक्षामा कम्तिमा ३० प्रतिशत अंक ल्याउनेहरु मात्र दोस्रो परिक्षामा सम्मिलित हुन पाउनेछन् । असार २५ गतेबाट सुरु हुने पहिलो चरणको परिक्षा कम्प्युटरको माध्यमबाट लिइनेछ । इन्जिनियरिङ तथा मेडिकलको प्रवेश परिक्षा भनेपछि यसैपनि विद्यार्थीहरुमा मनोवैज्ञानिक त्रास हुन्छ, हजारौँ विद्यार्थीहरु सँग प्रतिस्पर्धा गर्नुपर्ने मात्र नभइ, नयाँ ठाउँ र नयाँ परिवेशमा परिक्षा दिनुपर्छ, त्यसमाथि 'क्यारियर'को पहिलो खुड्किलोको रुपमा पनि प्रवेश परिक्षालाई हेर्ने गरिन्छ । इन्जिनियरिङ तथा मेडिकलको, प्रवेश परिक्षा दिन तम्तयार विद्यार्थीहरुका यस्तै यावत समस्याहरु समाधान गर्न नेपाली स्टार्टअप 'फुङ्का टेक्नोलोजी' ले नयाँ उपाय सुझाएको छ, 'मेरो एन्सर' एप मार्फत ।मेडिकल तथा इन्जिनियरिङ प्रवेश परिक्षाको पाठ्यक्रम अनुसार निर्माण गरिएको 'मेरो एन्सर', एप मार्फत इन्जिनियरिङ तथा मेडिकलको प्रवेश परिक्षाको अभ्यास आफूले चाहेको समयमा गर्न सकिन्छ । ' मेरो एन्सर'एप वेब र एन्ड्रोइड मा उपलब्ध छ

प्रत्येक वर्ष आयोजना हुँदै आएको लोकसको दशौँ संस्करण "लोकस २०१३" असार १४ देखि १६ गतेसम्म पुल्चोक क्याम्पस, पुल्चोकमा आयोजना हुनेभएकोछ । "Engineering the Rural Development” भन्ने थिम सहित आयोजना हुन लागेको लोकस २०१३ तिन दिनसम्म हुन लागेको कार्यक्रममा विभिन्न कलेज तथा विश्वविद्यालयका विद्यार्थीहरुको सहभागिता रहेनछ । कार्यक्रममा सफ्टेवयर कम्पिटिसन, हार्डवेयर कम्पिटिसन, सेमिनार, भिडियो कम्पिटिसन, पेपर प्रिजेन्टेसन लगायत विविध कार्यक्रम आयोजना गरिनेछन् । LOCUS 2013 will be focusing on the issue “Rural Development” through an engineering perspective and act as a medium to acknowledge this topic via different plans and efforts in the technical level. Likewise there was, Snaike, Bubble Smile, Kabaddi, Departmental Store Management System, Shooter form KU. And likewise there was, Online Pustak Bhandar from KEC and Departmental Store Management System from PUSET. Beside these there are numerous stall of hardware and software, Robots and Machines. Locus is a techincal festival which is organized every year by IOE , Pulchowk Campus students. Its main aim is to provide students a platform to show their talent. Locus provides lots of opportunities as it helds software , hardware , electrical events , paper presentation and various other competitions. Prize money will also be rewarded to the winners by Locus Committee. The Locus is starting from (today) Friday to Sunday (27 to 29 November,2009).
