Highway’s Song ‘Paplu’ Released Online [Music Video]

The most awaited Nepali Movie ‘Highway’ which is set to release on 20th July 2012 (साउन ५, २०६९) has released its song 'Laija Re Laija Re’ (Paplu) online.

Song ‘Paplu’ is shot on actress Reecha Sharma, who has played a role of bar dancer in the movie. Director Deepak Rauniyar said, “Clearly, It’s not an item song, though song was shot in the dance bar”. “There’s no song in the movie other than Paplu”, adds Rauniyar. “Story needs this song and it’s not an item song rather a dance number”, said Reecha Sharma in a television interview.Highway-Nepali-Movie

The first crowd funded Nepali movie ‘Highway’, which has been creating a buzz ever since it went into production was screened at one of the most prestigious film festival ‘Berlin Film Festival 2012’ on February. Directed by Deepak Rauniyar and produced by Dr. Sameer Mani Dixit, Dr. Lonim P Dixit. Joslyn Barnes and Danny Glover, the movie is believed to be another milestone in Nepali film industry.

SLC Results 2068/2069 to Publish in Mid June

The result of the School Leaving Certificate (SLC) 2068/2069 examinations held earlier this year will be published in mid June (First week of Asar). According to ekantipur , the Office of the Controller of Examinations is going to publish the School Leaving Certificate (SLC) results 2068 in third week of June. Deputy Controller Ambika Pd. Regmi said, “We are trying to publish the result as soon as possible. If we go according to our plan the results would be out by the third week of June”. SLC Result 2068/2069 Published

The Office of the Controller of Examinations, Sanothimi has published the results of the SLC examination for the academic year 2068, on Wednesday evening. Out of 528,257 examines, 47.16 percent students passed the SLC this year.
