By Anjali Timalshina , “ LUST ” as a title for movie- the first time I heard about it, I thought it was something related to a sensual relationship between a guy and a girl -- obviously, the title gave it away. Nevertheless it was not quite the story that matched my prophecy. Having the opportunity to watch the premier show of the “BUDS Best Film” award winner movie, I could say that I had raised expectations from the enthusiastic team of the filmmakers. On the other hand, what added my prospects was the fact that the movie was releasing on one of the prospective and active youth blogger “Aakar’s” blog Aakar Post that promoted the movie utilizing every possible resource. Getting to the story- the protagonist (or the con protagonist) portrayed by Pawan Jha and Manisha Bista as the lead lady in the movie seriously could not win my heart. I cannot exact about the conditions and time the movie was directed under, neither would I say that the director could not find the right person to...

H ave you ever given a thought to the fact that if you were not what you are today due to your qualification, where would you be? This is perhaps a recurring question for most of us. With me, it is always an alternate query hopping on my mind at times- “What if I was not provided with the opportunity of achieving a formal education?” and the response I get is- certainly not what I am today! (He is certainly wondering about something!) Admissibly true, I have been one of those lucky ones who were showered with utmost care and understanding of my parents that their girl is equally capable and deserves to be educated which is what, paved my path to a secure independent future. Nonetheless, another fact still pinches my heart that not everyone has had this basic but essential opportunity- there are still thousands of kids still on street or abandoned to survive on their own due direct or indirect harassment. Wouldn’t this world be a better place if every child was provided with education a...

In the world of darkness, A ray of light entered Inside me, And the reflections pour out As smile; Is that what I want to share? Mystic eyes, A joyful heart, Wishing to live every moment That’s all I have in plenty; Let me shine, And I wish to share it with the world. Past and future, Let them follow the present Just let me live this beautiful moment Fully, And bring some smile to share. A long day to go, A long life to live Miles to cross and responsibilities on my door; Let me forget the physical world And lift my spirit to joy, Since I cheer up, I will make sure, love and smile is what I shall really share. - Written By Anjali Sketch Credit: Suresh Maharjan

Listen to This Poem. Kneeling down on my knees, pleading you as to pray "Heavenly father give a peaceful space for your son to lay; You have created me and all my problematic situations Defeated, I beg- My father -My savior, rescue me from this agitation” Your son needs you lord; let him not befall on the chasm Little patience that I swerved is at its end, and I raise my arms; Nothing more I can do, no more effort I can put anymore Rescue me my lord- my savior, drift my sorrows ashore. There he appeared with a halo- then my Holy Father spoke "My son, I'm always beside you-till the end of your destiny on this earth. Your ignorance appends darkness in your life; I showed the path to light I created you, not your problems; I created a clear hearted son- not a complicated human; Yet my love for you is eternal, but I want you to be a man, my son.” On his elegant words, I pondered and cursed my deluding intelligence For blaming him for all my misdeeds and ...
